Proof Conmemorativa Uruguay - Centenario de fundación de FIFA

Aquí les presento otra moneda de mi colección: moneda de plata Proof Uruguaya del año 2004, Conmemorativa del Centenario de fundación de F.I.F.A. 

El certificado de ésta moneda dice lo siguiente:

"FIFA Centennial and 100 years of world football

The Official Uruguayan Commemorative Silver Coin

To celebrate the FIFA Centennial, the Uruguayan Central Bank has issued this commemorative silver coin. The coin symbolically represents the close relations between the issuing county and FIFA, at the same time illustrating the importance of football in Uruguay.

The commemorative silver coin describes a historical symbol from the times of the revolution of 1830: the rising sun. The rising sun also symbolises the beginning of the FIFA World Cup with Uruguay being the first host country in 1930."
